I've been tinkering with Aeon and MicroOs the philosophy calls to me immutable operating system with everything being seperated out into nice portable containers. Aeon is the dektop version.

Distrobox is like a super integrated container the theory is you install all your random admin crap in there and leave the base system stock as possible. But sometimes you need to use the main shell and it has none of your shit.
